La Cornue Series
Château Series
The Château Series is the crown jewel of La Cornue—a celebration of French craftsmanship, culinary excellence, and timeless design. Individually made to order in the La Cornue workshop in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, just outside Paris, every Château range is handcrafted, numbered by its artisan, and built as the realization of its owner's unique vision.
With more than 8,000 possible configurations of sizes, colors, trims, and cooking options, no two Château ranges are exactly alike. Each features La Cornue's signature vaulted oven, first introduced by Albert Dupuy in 1908 and still regarded as one of the most innovative cooking systems ever created. Available in seven sizes, from a graceful 30-inch model to the magnificent 71-inch Château 180, the collection is complemented by matching cabinetry, hoods, rôtisseries, and accessories.
Crafted from the finest materials and perfected through more than a century of innovation, the Château Series delivers culinary performance without compromise. Commissioned as functional works of art, these ranges become the centerpiece of extraordinary kitchens and are often treasured for generations.
Château Supreme

More than a collection of cabinetry, Château Supreme is a complete design philosophy—one in which every detail is considered, every proportion is intentional, and every element exists in perfect harmony. The result is a kitchen that is as timeless as it is functional: a place where French craftsmanship, culinary excellence, and extraordinary design come together to create the heart of the home.

The Château Cabinet Collection extends the artistry and craftsmanship of the Château Series beyond the range itself, creating kitchens of exceptional beauty and harmony. Designed and handcrafted to order in the La Cornue workshop in France, each cabinet is built specifically for its owner's project, combining traditional craftsmanship with precise engineering.
Renowned for La Cornue's mastery of porcelain enamel, the cabinetry is available in the same rich palette of colors and finishes as the Château ranges, allowing every element of the kitchen to exist in perfect visual harmony. Together with matching hoods, islands, and accessories, Château Cabinets transform the kitchen into a unified architectural composition where every detail reflects the enduring elegance of La Cornue.
The La Cornue Story
La Cornue ranges have always represented a celebration of all that is glorious about France and the French culinary tradition. They exhibit timeless style and summon an expression of truly refined taste. La Cornue ranges are as unique as each owner, and therefore, quite extraordinary and cherished by our clients as a commissioned piece of art. Not only used to create masterpieces in the kitchen, but the ranges themselves are also considered by most to be a masterpiece in the kitchen.
Frequesntly Asked Questions
What distinguishes the Château Series from other professional-quality stoves?
The Château Series delivers a superior cooking appliance that embraces and embodies fine French cooking. From start to finish, each stove is custom built to the specifications of its owner, entirely by hand, using parts crafted from the finest metals and other materials. Upon completion, the owner's name is engraved on a brass plaque fastened to the stove. The beauty of each model goes beyond its distinctive look and choices of 26 colors and 12 metal finishes. The combination of features like the vaulted ovens, simmering plate, and grill and griddle options distinguish the Château Series from every other commercial-or professional-quality stove.
Why is one oven heated by gas, the other by electricity?
Both ovens create the quality of heat and humidity that are ideal for certain types of foods. In the gas oven, moist intense heat is perfect for roasting meats and poultry, as well as for baking bread. The electric oven, with top and bottom elements, is better suited to baking pastries and casseroles.
After I order a Château Series range, when will it be delivered?
The estimated delivery date quoted at the time of order generally allows a lead time of 12 to 14 weeks. Each range is hand-assembled by one worker over a period of three months, then shipped to the United States via air freight. When ordering, remember that the company's workshop closes for the entire month of August.
